Program and Curriculum

Mr. Yoo's curriculum focuses on motivation in problem solving. In mathematics, motivation refers to what in a problem or idea motivates us to approach in a certain way. Students can sometimes follow a solution manual but not recreate a solution themselves; understanding motivation addresses the majority of these cases.

More than 96% of students who joined math olympiad classes by 7th grade have scored 780+ on SAT I Math, and math olympiad students have been admitted to math programs at Harvard, MIT, Princeton, Stanford, and Caltech every year for the last ten years.
